Rider Convergence

We have tailored our camps to suit the next generation of Surfers! Unshackled from routine, we offer freedom to experience what its like to be on the road as a professional athlete. Run by top Australian pros, the campers gain insight into the life of professional Surfers, enjoy sessions with top Australia’s athletes and be guided on all new tricks.

 

Lead by Beau Mithcell & Shane Azar, each day consists of group surf sessions followed by video review headed by Beau. Guest appearances from top Australian athletes along with fun and games, to keep campers guessing. 

 

Each Camper has the freedom to work on their Surfing alone or be assisted by the Rider Convergence crew, because this isn’t your usual camp, here we encourage campers to pursue their own creative path, free from structured lessons. (It’s the experience)

 

Games & Contests:

Throughout the week we play fun games and little competitions where campers win prizes from our amazing sponsors. (Not all games & comps are skill based, meaning there are chances for all to win)

Who Can Come:

Any girl or boy over 7 years of age can join the skate camp.

Any girl or boy aged 10 & up can join the Surf & Mixed camp.

Minimal previous experience required.

What to bring:

Parents Check:

  • All items of clothing are marked
  • Transportation for child to and from camp
  • Decide on spending money / phone credit.
  • Medical forms or prescription medication

Campers Checklist:

  • Bedding – Campers MUST bring their own bedding.  We strongly suggest bringing a sleeping bag.  Sheets and Blankets are acceptable.
  • Skateboard / Surfboard – Helmet (mandatory) , Elbow and Knee pads (Highly Recommended)
  • Swimming attire & towel

We strongly recommend labelling all clothing, mobile phones and personal possessions. Rider convergence is not responsible for lost, stolen or broken items.

Food:

Breakfast: Consists of cereals, fruits, toast & spreads

Lunch: Daily fresh bread rolls with cold meats and salads

Dinner: Ranges from Pasta, Burgers, Sausages, Pizza, Vegies & Salad. (If you have any dietary requirements please let us know.)

Extras Snacks: We know how hungry kids get when active, so there will be plenty of extra snacks on hand at all times and in the evenings. Including fruit, muesli bars and crisps.
